What is an Ice Ball?

Ice Balls are perfectly round, perfectly clear spheres of cocktail ice. The Ice and Easy ice ball comes in several sizes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Ice Balls should always be allowed to temper for at least five minutes before coming in contact with liquids, and the liquids going in should be ice cold. The Ice Balls will generally last up to an hour in a cold drink, and look best served in either a martini/cocktail glass or a short/rocks glass.

Ice Balls originated in Japan where ultra premium cocktails are very expensive and the desire not to dilute such spirits is strong. Traditionally, blocks of carving ice are chipped by hand into pieces that are pressed one at a time into ice balls. We make our ice balls using technology and systems that allow us to manufacture in large quantities and to ensure consistency, food-safety and convenience. That's why we call our ice balls "Ice and Easy."
