Our special packaging keeps your ice creation safe and frozen to use on the day you receive it without the need to put it in a freezer. Or if you do have freezer space, the packaging means that you can store Ice Caters® products indefinitely for later day, week or month use!
Here is how Ice Caters® Control Temp packaging works:
The ice creation is packed in a box that is lined with special space-age insulating materials that keeps the ice in frozen perfection for up to 24 hours. Before your ice creation was delivered, shipped or picked-up, our distributor added a small amount of dry ice in a paper bag. The dry ice brings the temperature inside the box down well below the freezing temperature of ice. The bag may be empty when you open the ice, because dry ice sublimates (turns from a solid into a gas) in 12-24 hours after being inserted. But even without dry ice, the packaging will keep the ice creation frozen for another 6-12 hours if kept in a cool dry place.
