Ice Caters® MAGIC SNOW!
Ice Caters® ice creations come with a powdery material we call Magic Snow that absorbs nearly 1000 times its volume in water. As the material absorbs water from your melting ice creation (yes, it is ice and will melt!) the Magic Snow powder will grow into a beautiful white snow-like material. It will add even more beauty and excitement to your display, and will make clean up simple and neat.
More to Know about Magic Snow:
1) Magic Snow is an absorbent and will grow considerably in volume. NEVER pour this material down a drain. ALWAYS dispose of it in a plastic bag and place it in the trash. DO NOT RINSE the tray that your ice creation was placed in, because even a small amount of Magic Snow could clog your drain. (Note: a small amount of bleach will break up any clogs that do result).
2) Magic Snow is FOOD SAFE and is NON toxic, but we do not recommend that you place it contact with food products that you may place in or around your Ice Caters® ice creation. You can, place a linen napkin on top of the magic snow in the tray if you are using the ice to serve food. The Magic Snow will still serve its purpose of making it easy to dispose of the tray!
3) Magic Snow is sticky, but it can also be very slippery if spilled on the floor once it has absorbed water. We know that it is hard to resist, but please avoid and recommend to your guests that they avoid removing it from the tray or sticking their fingers into the melting tray. It’s wonderfully neat to use to avoid spills, but can also be challenging to remove from carpets, clothing and table cloths.
