Care and Use
SETTING UP YOUR Ice Caters® ICE CREATION:
1. Carefully remove your ice creation from the box and place it in the center of the tray provided or your own tray or platter.
2. If you use your own tray, be sure that there is enough surface area or a lip at least 1.5 to 2 inches high.
3. Avoid placing the tray directly on wood or any other surface that could be damaged by moisture. The Magic Snow will prevent any spills for a good 3-4 hours, but the cold temperature of the ice may still create condensation. So it is a good idea to place a table cloth, additional tray or even a linen napkin underneath the tray for protection.
We do not recommend placing any liquids in ice bowls without use of a plastic liner because the liquid will melt through the ice and reduce the lifespan of the ice creation. For Iceware and Luges, please follow the instructions to pre-chill all liquids before serving.
LIGHTING YOUR ICE CATERS® ICE CREATION: Ice creations look more dramatic and spectacular when accented with lighting. We recommend and offer Litecubes because they don’t give off any heat, are reusable and are a lot of fun! You can also try adding a few tea lite candles around the ice display or wrap rope lighting around the base of the ice creation.
Place one or two litecubes inside the ice bucket, vase, bowls or any of our serving pieces. You can also place the ice creations on top of 3-4 lightcubes arranged in the tray which increase the space in the tray to collect the melting liquid while providing a very dramatic lighting presentation.

ICE VASES USED TO DISPLAY FLOWERS
- Flowers that will be displayed for a few hours do not require water. The ice will keep the flowers looking fresh, and putting water inside the vase will quickly melt the ice.
- If you find that your stems are not long enough, one tip to provide proper height, is to crumple the plastic bag that your Vase arrived in and place it inside the bottom of the Vase. Then arrange your flowers above.
